Understanding International Justice: A Briefing on Current Mechanisms Related to Myanmar

What are the various international cases affecting Myanmar? As of November 2019, four different legal and investigative mechanisms concerning the human rights situation in North Rakhine have moved forward. How do these mechanisms differ from each other and in which areas do their work overlap? To encourage robust and informed public discourse on the topic, the French Institute has invited the International Commission of Jurists to explain these human rights and justice mechanisms. The event will aim to simplify and raise awareness as to the objectives and procedures of these mechanisms.

This event is organized by the French Institute. The event is open to all.
