My Feminism Upon Your Walls
(An exhibition of feminist posters from around the world)
“My feminism upon your walls” is a unique exhibition, exploring the art and power of feminist posters, in collaboration with the French organization “La Rage”. This feminist collective aims at gathering feminist posters from all over the world, in order to give visibility to the fights of feminists and lesbians across the globe, to inspire others and to explore the uses of graphic posters, in a concern of creativity, cultural diversity and free sharing.
In anticipation of this exhibition, the French Institute in Myanmar has worked with La Rage to add posters from Asia and The Middle East to the collection. The newly-added posters are exhibited here for the very first time, and will then be exhibited in France. This includes posters made by Myanmar artists and CSOs.
